Guest guest
Oh me too! KK's just make me sick... I like huge, chewy, chocolate covered buttermilk bars! OH YUM. xoxoRobyn I can't stand those Krispy Kreme donuts. I wanna have a BIG brick heavy buttermilk manly donut or a 2 pound apple fritter with a weeks worth of calories or a jelly donut with 6 tablespoons of jelly in the center. No fluffy Krispy Kreme for me...........LOL Why is there always money for war, but none for education? 01.20.

Guest guest
I seldom eat anything like a donut but if I do I go to those little Mom & Pa donut places and buy a donut so heavy it feels like 5 pounds in the bag. No KK's for me either. Marsha , TruNatrschild wrote: > > > > Oh me too! KK's just make me sick... I like huge, chewy, chocolate covered > buttermilk bars! Guest guest
Well, they may be " fluffy, " but I bet they stack up to any brick on the calorie and fat front. LOL. -Erin , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > I can't stand those Krispy Kreme donuts. Guest guest
The pool at my apartment backs up to the KK store... when I am sitting at the pool I dream of jumping onto the conveyor belt and running myself through the glaze. Oh if only I didn't have a conscience about those pesky animals... I would love to eat at KK. Just kidding... Guest guest
I never have KKs any more....the last couple of times we went there, they seemed to leave an unpleasant after taste in my mouth. I dunno...lard, maybe? (This was before I came back to the vegetarian fold....and my senses....) The only way I would even think about donuts these days is if we were traveling by car on a long journey, something we used to do with great frequency, but less and less these days. We are thinking of taking a trip by car from Texas to Oregon perhaps later in the summer, and if we do, we will look for small town donut shops or bakeries. Some are better than others, but they are never bad, especially with an extra large cup of coffee!!! Speaking of traveling, meals should prove to be interesting since I can't have gluten now either! Guest guest
I live in the heart of KK Country. Actually KK has their world headquarters in Winston-Salem. I get invited to do taste tests for them once in a while. They pay good! $35 for an hours work! They have an interesting beginning. My DD did a report on them last year. I don't like anything real sweet. I do like " sweets " not just sickening sweet. A fresh donut once in a while with a cold class of milk is good!
