A romaine lettuce leaf with crunchy peanut butter on sauteed onions .

don't really have a favorite but have happy memories of the one my daddy made

for me when I was little. a teaspoon of white sugar rolled up in an iceberg

lettuce leaf. not the healthiest of snacks but special cause daddy made it!

great grandma recycled, she called it making do.

who I am is fine, it's just this body that's disabled!

middle age = that time of life when we realize yesterday's sex, drugs and rock

and roll are todays memories, prescriptions and golden oldies!

I run out of bread fast or I should say my roommates eat up my bread.

I have to use lettuce wraps and I got to liking them. I put everything

in there.

Fried tofu, left-over Chinese food, cold beans & rice. They taste good,

work fine and are super easy to fill.

Have fun, I'll be at the beach,

Brad

I do love a good lettuce wrap. However, my favorite wrap has got to be a

hummus wrap in a tortilla, with plenty of fresh veggies and sprouts. Nothing

makes me happier.

Summer time is here so I raid my frig and put anything that's cold in a wrap.

One of my favoriates is spread some hummus on the wrap, add some chopped

lettuce (or spinach, or whatever greens), mushrooms, cucumbers, tomatoes, sliced

carrots, a bit of grated cheese and I'm all set to go.

Winter time is vegetarian refried beans and rice. Can't beat that for a hot

picker upper.

Yes, leftover chinese food does work wonders. So easy. Love wraps!!

I agree, Barb. Wraps are an excellent, quick meal that is delicious. And

using some type of lettuce leaf for the wrap makes it taste that much better

in my book. I love the taste of vegetables, and taking a leaf and robbing

the refrigerator is fun.
