cooking with lavender

I use dried lavender flowers. I crush them with the mortar & pestle and add to

sweet breads and cookies.

It's good in cornbread too. In the dessert folder I have a lavender cookie

recipe. In the sweet bread folder I have a lavender bread also. I don't use the

oil.

I will try this, I use lavender for lots of food recipes so I'll make a good

lotion!

Now I will have to grow some lavender and try this. I had just never thought

about it. I know some folks eat pansies and nasturtiums, but I haven't before.

Have you? I planted some nasturtiums this year in my veggie garden. They say

they are a natural insect repellant for your veggie plants. Hope it works. If

not they will look pretty.
