If you Google it, you'll learn that many also do it without any problems. I recently bought a microwave rice cooker and I'm thinking that might work well also. Have to give it a shot. Not to change the subject, but the rice cooker makes perfect pasta for one very hungry person or two people (you can only cook two cups of pasta at a time). Beats having to wait for that pot of water to boil. I was a little leery as I'm kind of particular about my pasta....the bite has to be exactly right. Worked like a charm. Guest guest
Diane, I am just wondering- is there anything special that you do or don't do to pop corn in your microwave? I have always read that doing it that way can cause a fire due to the bag overheating...so I never have- but have wanted to try it. I use that spray butter because I do my popcorn in a paper bag in the micro............
