Guest guest
Maybe Gary knows, he grows a lot of herbs. I have never even heard of it, I've never seen it for sale either at Whole Foods. Guest guest
Now I want to try lovage, just because I know nothing about it. Most people in other states don't use epazote. It grows like a weed in my parents backyard and we put it in beans. Helps cut down on the gas problem. Kenia
Guest guest
There was a wonderful play on Broadway (more years ago than I'd like to remember) called Lettice & Lovage, both names of the leading women characters. Naturally, it was allegorical, but afterwards I tried to grow lovage in my herb garden. I had limited success, because my garden feeds too many non-human critters. Anyway, it's closest comparison is to celery, but lovage is woodier. Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower Saturday, June 3, 2006 7:55:50 AM what is lovage ??? Question For GARY Maybe Gary knows, he grows a lot of herbs. I have never even heard of it, I've never seen it for sale either at Whole Foods.
