Guest guest
A coworker just brought me 2 cartons of red raspberries. I've only washed and eaten them before. Does anyone have a recipe using them? Guest guest
okay Donna, I'm of course going to suggest a bread...ha! I have a blackberry bread I make in the fall when they are in abundance here, it is the kids favorite...it would work with raspberries...if you have a blueberry bread recipe it would work just switching berries. I'm actually thinking how pretty muffins would be! Also there is this, I haven't made it in ages & I don't know how it would work with non-dairy stuffs.... Berry Soup - Moosewood Cookbook 1 quart fresh orange juice 4 cups of - yogurt, buttermilk, sourcream in any combination 1 Tbs honey (more if you like) perhaps turbinado sugar for vegan? 2 Tbs fresh lemon or lime juice dash of cinnamon dash of nutmeg 1 1/2 pints of fresh berries Whisk everything together except berries & chill thoroughly. Wash and drain the berries - blueberries, raspberries etc can be left whole, slice strawberries. Serve by putting the berries into the bowls and spooning the " soup " on top. Garnish with mint leaves...or not!

Just mash them and add " sugary stuff " to your taste - and there you've got jam! my fave thing to do with raspberries! oh, and you can also just eat them plain or with a bit of sugar along with ice cream, whipped cream (for those of us who eat that) Ragnhild ------- Start.no tilbyr nå raskere bredbånd til lavere pris.
