Guest guest
In a way it's good you tried the pepperoni and now you see you don't like it anymore at all, so the craving will now disappear. That's a good feeling.......Donna elisa <lavendercowz wrote:Speaking of meat cravings... Guest guest
It's funny, because pepperoni was the last thing I gave it up since I used to like it so much. I used to look at it and go " yum, but I'm not eating it. " Now I just see dead dead dead. Guest guest
I did something similar with cheese pizza. It made me so sick! It's just been too long since I ate meat and it actually makes me sick to look at or smell so no cravings there but dairy and eggs are difficult sometimes, especially when it's doughnut or cupcake involved! ~mel GeminiDragon <thelilacflower wrote: In a way it's good you tried the pepperoni and now you see you don't like it anymore at all, so the craving will now disappear. Guest guest
yes! well maybe not grocery stores, because here in germany most meat and seafood are sold in separate stores but there is a large department store in the center of town and the entrance/exit most convenient location-wise is also the one right next to a brat stand. Mind you there is also a bakery right next to that but do I smell fresh baked bread? Nooo...the smell gets overpowered. , GeminiDragon <thelilacflower> wrote: > Did you notice that now when you enter a grocery store you an smell the meat and seafood area before you see it and it makes you sick? Especially the seafood! ick.... Grocery shopping is so quick and easy when you avoid 1 - the meat dept, 2 - the seafood dept and 3 - most of the middle aisles! *lol*

He, he...we do this, except I do make a trip down the paper aisle & the aisle with applesauce..oh and the baking aisle...I love the way most stores are set up so you can completely avoid the meat dept. Sadly, one of my favorite produce stores has the lettuce and stuff right by the fresh & stinky seafood...you know we don't ponder our selections there!! m

That high fructose corn syrup is sneaking up everywhere lately...I looked at the ingredients in Mott's Applesauce the other day (didn't look at any others, but I assume maybe others are the same) and was disturbed to see HFCS as the 2nd or 3rd ingredient. From now on if I get applesauce it's coming from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. Same with other products that now have HFCS. There was an excellent article last month in Organic Style about this ingredient. I started avoiding it awhile ago, but the article was great in discussing the dangers of this ingredient that is popping up everywhere now. Guest guest
Mott's does have one without - unsweetened or natural. They also have an organic one. Gotta pay awful close attention though.
Guest guest
Yup. The worst is the seafood. I can smell that and they have those tanks of live lobsters for people to purchase and devour. I wanted to liberate one but I have no idea where I would put it.
