Guest guest
I ate this during the week matter of fact, I love it. You can change the veggies all around, add some onions or minced garlic, or use angel hair pasta for the shell also. Very easy to make and pretty to serve. Enjoy! " Spaghetti Pie " To Make Pie Shell ~~~~~~~~~~ 4 oz. spaghetti 1/2 cup parmesan cheese 1 egg white, beaten Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Stir in cheese and egg white (any spices if you desire like oregano, parsley, pepper) Place in greased 8 or 9 inch pie plate and shape to a pie shell. (I use a quiche plate myself). Filling ~~~~~~~~~~~~ 8 -10 oz. of frozen mixed vegetables steamed and drained 1/4 cup parmesan cheese 1 egg white beaten sprinkle of salt or other spices if desired. Mix together and place on top of spaghetti pie shell. Bake 15-20 mins. * NOTE: Top with cheese the last 5 minutes to melt if desired. (I never do, doesn't need it really.) MY sister adds sliced tomato on top of hers, I usually add slices olives in with the veggies. My girlfriend covers the veggies with sauteed onions. This recipe is very versatile. glpveg4life wrote: HI Donna: I would love to see your spaghetti pie recipe. Thanks gayle
