I was going to mention to spray the grill or brush a little oil over it or add a

little oil to your marinade. I peel a potato and cut in thin long lengthwise

slices and grill them on there also.

I love this grill so much that I had 3, I gave one to my nephews wife since she

was visiting from out of state and she wanted one so much. I think you are

having a good time with your experiments, that's so nice to hear. I'm happy

knowing you tried toful Now it's very inexpensive to buy a handful of beans and

grains so you might want to try some of those also. Have you tried barley,

lentils, different types of beans yet?.....Donna

Ok! Well, I tried tofu tonight for dinner. I got it already marinated in

sesame seasoning. That was a little mild for me. However, it wasn't too bad.

I also sprayed some veggie spray on the grill and fired it up. Not too bad

overall!

I am having a ball with my experiments! I even boiled some stir fry veggies

(yes boiled) and stirred in some bbq sauce and A1. Yummy! Then I had scalloped

potatos. SOmetimes I make weird combos but they are usually satisfiying so....

I have not tried lentils (not sure how to cook them or what they are).

Sometimes I feel like a food idiot .LOL.

Get a small bag of lentils in the aisle that sells packaged beans and rice.

Rinse then in a mesh strainer. They cook up in about 35 - 45 minutes. You can

cook one cup of lentils to about 3 cups of water and just toss your favorites

chopped veggies in like onions, celery, carrot, garlic clove and some spices.

I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprisd. Add more water as they cook and you

can have a lentil soup. I like my lentils thick like a stew. I also toss a can

of stewed tomatoes in. I use the brown lentils, they are small like dried split

peas.................Donna
