Guest guest
Well I had a strange experience as a young child; I can't remember if it was before or after my Grandma Webber died. She lived in England so I didn't see much of her (we moved to the states when I was 5). Anyway, one day I was writing the name Georgianna over and over and I said, " that is what I'm going to name my daughter. " Well, many years later, I received a booklet of poems written by my grandma (her only daughter put it together). On the cover was her full name, Gladys Georgina Webber. I still like that name and I've always had a special bond with Grandma Webber even through death. James likes the name Juniper for a daughter, and it's growing on me as well. Boys names are going to be more difficult, as we both seem to be particular with how the name resonates. It's amazing what you learn about yourself and your partner through this process! But we've never had a problem naming our pets! LOL Denise , GeminiDragon <thelilacflower> wrote: > > That is wonderful news. Yes, we need to know right away so we can all send you our blessings. That is fantastic, it's also wonderful knowing your tests all came back showing good health. I think you mentioned in the start you wanted good luck as you were trying for a baby. Is that correct? > Do you have names picked out yet????? Come on we want to hear. > I love this group too............there's always a good recipe(s) posted, wonderful support, little laughs and very good health news. > Sending you love and hugs......Donna
Guest guest
HIP HIP HOORAY, Denise!! What marvelous news...yeah, naming a kid is tough, they can actually tell you they hate their name eventually! We were in the hosp four days (csection) with son #1 and it was discharge day & we still hadn't completely settled on his name...it is rather an awesome undertaking all the way round! I totally agree with Jenni, trust your self and go with your gut...when it comes down to it you will always know best what is right for you and your family...you'll find that you get lots of input, from now on...welcome and unwelcome See and I've even got some more input for you...keep up the iron & if you are feeling naseaus try dry roasted peanuts...I had " morning " sickness bad with both and early into #1 a nurse suggested the dry roasted peanuts, don't know if was in my head or what, but they truly helped! Look forward to hearing more...and I love the name Juniper, & I think it could go either way, boy or girl... Hugs m

Guest guest
Thank you so much Melissa! So far I've been pretty good on getting enough protein and calcium, but I am concerned about getting enough iron. My mom had that issue when pregnant with me and she was put on iron supplements. But, I think my prenatal vitamin will keep me from having to take other supplements. I found a great site that allows me to input the foods I eat and it calculates all the importants things. At least it'll give me a general idea of where I am with my nutrition. I haven't been hit hard with " morning " sickness. I've pretty much just had a low grade nauseous feeling in the back of my throat. So far whole wheat crackers with cheese has helped me. I've also eaten sunflower seeds or a piece of fruit(mostly bananas). I've also heard that ginger is excellent for nausea and if it gets worse I might order some of those Preggie Pops. It seems right now that if I just keep eating, then I don't feel sick!
