Guest guest
Hey Chanda you better read those emails.LOL I did answer you back but maybe I forgot to press send.hehehe. Take that jicama and peel it and then slice it and sprinkle lemon juice and chili powder on top Or dice it and toss on your salad. I love it cut in slices and dipped in ranch dressing too. You can add to a fruit salad. It will stay crunchy kind or like water chestnuts. How long have you had that thing anyway? It might be in the vegetable crisper transforming into a plant by now. Bigger Hugs, Donna PuterWitch <puterwitch wrote: a veg you have never heard of? this is unheard of! by the way, what about this here Jicama already? Guest guest
LMAO!! nah, it's still good, LOL. ok so it's a raw thing ok. So I could like slice it and dip it in some ranch made with my new love, vegenaise. sounds like breakfast! yum and you probably did hit send but my emails were so piling up. I need to hire someone to sort my email. I am in the sims community and that gives me no exaggeration like over 300 emails per day, but allot of them are fan emails praising my work which makes my head bigger than a genetically altered watermelon with no black seeds. They are round ya know. I wanna see a square watermelon, wouldn't that rock? maybe they would be even MORE tasteless than the round seedless ones, but hey, we could really have organized shipping then. where am I? - GeminiDragon Friday, July 08, 2005 9:50 PM Re: Chanda and the jicama Hey Chanda you better read those emails.LOL I did answer you back but maybe I forgot to press send.hehehe. Guest guest
Send me your Sims site. I want to see your work. You've got the address. I have seen the square watermelons and they want something like $25 for them. I love that wobble monster that never sits on the same side when you are trying to cut it. No square melon for me.I do like the yellow waternelon. I found those at the Asian markets and they really are sweet, not that a watermelon is sour to begin with. I always take a little vegenaise and put some chopped green onion in it and one clove of garlic and dip my jicama in that. I swear vegenaise is the best. I have everyone at work hooked on it. If there are spots on the jimaca skin just cut them off, the skin really does mark up. They most play football with them before they get placed in the produce section. Bigger Hugs, Donna I had one on the counter, in the corner, that I forgot about.... it started growing!! The tendrils were long (~3 ft) and skinny, 3 or 4 of them from the top of the tuber... I just sent it back to DC with my friend and she's put it on another friend's desk (no explanation to him) for a joke. He still doesn't know where it came from! ;-)
