Guest guest
Um... no! It is not the same! He doesn't believe that the killing and consumption of an avocado is cruel or immoral. He just doesn't like them. ===== But Jiraph, he is correct in that sense. We might not agree with what he is eating, but it's his choice to do so. I do think it was very inconsiderateof your female friend to send the Mayo diet to you, that consists of meat. It's like the couple buying corn, if you didn't ask the question then you would still assume they were having a healthy BBQue of veggies but you asked a question and they gave you an honest answer even though it as an answer you didn't like hearing. Our vegetarian lifestyle is catching on rapidly but we are still a minority in the eating chain. That's just my opinion....Donna ==== One daily consumer of flesh friend says he won't mention my eating avocados, which he doesn't like, and I shouldn't talk about his eating dead birds, cows, pigs, fish, sheepies..... " The cat did not respond. She did not believe in paraphrasing anybody. If people pursued this same feline wisdom, there'd be a lot fewer misunderstandings. Guest guest
Hi Jiraph, it IS the same in a sense. What he is saying is, leave me alone, I wanna eat what I wanna eat. I know it is frustrating that people don't see our way, but if we try to force them to we will just come off as militant whackos to them and they will not listen at all. Believe me I feel for the cause, but we can't force them to see our way. We can let them try recipes, and answer questions if asked, but that's about it. Guest guest
(OT) OOoh harry potter #6..cant wait until saturday! yay! (slightly OT) I was reading about how a bunch of kids get to visit a castle in scotland recreated to look like the main hall of hogwarts and get their signed copies of the books. I was excited at the idea until I read their dinner menu with many non-veggie items and went blech. Got any ideas for a Harry Potter/Hogwarts/British style veggie dish to celebrate on Saturday (or whenever you pick up the book)? -Katie , Jenni Billings <jenni@b...> wrote: > hot & Humid in DC! > and I just had my wonderful easy lunch...
