add garlic, maybe a pinch of salt, and you can puree a few raw baby

carrots in there too.

Peanut butter. It's the same idea, because tahini is

basically sesame butter, but you always have it in the

house.

 

Here's a good one, speaking of, which I stole from

" Passionate Vegetarian " and have to make on New Year's

Eve, being in the south. I don't know the exact recipe

off the top of my head, but its hummus except you use

black eyed peas instead of garbonzos, peanut butter

instead of tahini. Yummmm....

I have roasted sunflower seeds, not quite the same, but could work.

Oh, yeah how could I forget garlic, I bet it'd be really good if I

roasted it first. And I would have never thought about carrots. Maybe

I have some immature ones in my garden I could use.....hmmmm....
