Jalaps; was: Indian (channa aloo) Stew Recipe

Oh, this sounds so good. i just bought a whole

whack of jalaps and i need some ideas for using

them up. When i walked in the door my dh said,

" Why the heck did you buy so many of them!? "

i replied, " They came in a big produce box like

this and they were so cheap i couldn't resist.

Don't worry, my veggie pals will give me some

good recipes. " *lol*

This recipe is a start.

i know those veggie monks in that 'Simply Heavenly'

monastary cookbook use a lot of them too.

~PT~, you tell your hubby that down here in Texas that is about the silliest

question ever (in this case there is such thing as a dumb question)! :)

 

Btw, can I have the address to that store?? ;)

 

Here is a blurry picture of a jalp with a nub on it. I decided to spare the

poor guy and show some class by not eating it or selling it on ebay.
