Ferals,

Are we all familiar with the -based

http://www.freecycle.org/ ?

Let me expain!

We talk about not only what to cook... but what

to prepare it in or on or with.

I am a member of Chicago FreeCycle. In this

give-away group, everything is free! People

offer what they have to give away, or request

what they need or want. All is free... just has

to be picked up.

So... when someone offers cooking equipment, I

think of people in our group... and want to share

this FreeCycle resource! Plus... its fun!

Jiraph, I love Freecycle.... we have one here in Jax too, and I give

away lots of stuff that is useful-but-no-longer-to-me. I've a few

useful-but-no-longer-to-them items as well, like a juicer! :-) Handy

site....

I'm a member of 3 Freecycles in SW Iowa. The Des Moines one definitely

gets more traffic, but I've given stuff away and received a few

things. Always looking for an item I may not have.

I'll be on the hunt for lots of plastic dishes soon, with baby coming

I guess we'll have to put the " good " glasses and dishes away for

awhile! Gee I never thought I would have " good " dishes! LOL!

Thanks for that link, Jiraph. A friend of mine joined

the freecycle in Eugene group, but i had no idea there

was one for Grants Pass. i just joined it; they have

130 members. Too cool. :)
