Guest guest
This is the most refreshing, romantic, easy to make and serve after dinner treat ever. Perfect for a hot summer evening. Watch your guests faces when they taste this. " Chambord Laced Grapefruit " 2 red grapefruits peeled and remove segments from membranes. Bottle of Chambord (French raspberry liquer) Place grapefruit segments in bowl and pour Chambord over top. Cover with tight lid. Place in refrigerator a few hours to macerate. About every 1/2 hour gently turn container over to mix flavors. Serve after dinner by spooning into wine goblets or martini glasses. You will be pleasantly surprised at the flavor and the color of the grapefruit. Absolutely elegant darlings! " What the caterpillar calls the end, the rest of the world calls a butterfly. I couldn't agree more. It's just elegant served in a nice glass and the taste is divine. > I've tried other liqueurs but this is definitely the one to use. White grapefruit also works but the red is better. DH's favorite is red anyway... what a beautiful-sounding dessert. I can't wait to try it. Guest guest
Sound interesting...I like pretty & simple deserts...what a flavor combo?! Silly question...I've got a bottle of some liquer (perhaps even raspberry)that I got ages ago for a chocolate cake recipe (that I made for my mom, it took forever and she certainly didn't appreciate it enough, but that is a whole 'nother tale)...ANYWAY...liquer is one of those things that just keep forever, right? m
