Guest guest
Hi Chanda: Just thinking how about fruit smoothies made with silken tofu. This would give her protein along with the fruit. I don't remember which brand it is but there is one that has fruit flavor silken tofu. Gayle
Guest guest
Hi All, Thanks so much to all you kind peeps offering ideas for my friend Maryann. (that is the correct spelling I have found out, LOL) anywho, I copied and sent her a ton of the soup recipes from all you great folks. Now I want to send her " saucy " pasta dishes or sauce recipes. Thing is, I don't know from the archives if the consistency of the recipes is saucy, or pasty like mac and cheese. She can't do mac and cheese cause it's not wet enough. Instead of giving me the whole recipe again if you guys could just clue me in on which of the archive recipes are " wet " or saucy I would soooo appreciate it. Thanks tons! Blessings, Chanda
Guest guest
Very true you don't need the fruit flavored tofu any silken tofu will do. I can't remember the brand for the fruit flavored tofu its been around for a couple of years. We make smoothies sometimes with the fruit flavored tofu, fruit juice, maybe some soymilk and whatever fruit we have around fresh, frozen or a combination of both. I do that myself sometimes... you don't even need the fruit-flavored tofu (which I haven't seen - is it new?), just the silken tofu and some fruit (frozen or not) and juice or milk/soymilk.... YUM!
