my hubby just sent this message out... i just love that he's googling

You can pass this along to your friends and groups:

Someone at work gave me a drink to try (Rooster Booster, a Red Bull

knockoff). One of the ingredients is Acesulfame-K. Since I don't like

eating or drinking things with ingredients that I can't recognize or

pronounce, I Googled Acesulfame-K. The results were shocking and I'm

glad I did. Unfortunately, this one went right down the sink. I don't

like to waste food, but I also enjoy being cancer-free. :)

It's an artificial sweetener and found in many foods:

The facts are out there!

Imagine the people that over indulge not knowing what ingredients products

contain. I've seen a few people here that drink 6 Cokes by the time they leave

work or can't start the day without a few Red Bulls or other drinks of that

sort. There's 4 vending machines here and within 3 days they are empty. I've

never bought anything from them yet. I also see some of these people wearing

size xs when they should have on xl. Cover that stuff up................Donna

my favorite is that bottled " water " that says oh gee I forget the name, but it

implies it is pure and clean, water with a hint of fruit, then read the

ingredients, blah! aspartame.

LOL!! Donna you are so funny.

I was at the insurance office this morning and I thought the same thing, people

getting that stuff from the vending machine, and I also thought the same thing

about this girl, she was sittingin a chair with pants on way too small, and you

could see way more of her back than you would like to, LOL, and I put that

nicely, you can get the picture.

Blessings,

Chanda

I still remember the whole " juice " , " concentrate " , " drink " debacle thingy.

Everyone would be buying these containers that they thought actually had

" fruit " " juice " in them (based on the description) when in fact it was a

flavored drink (according to the ingredients). Who would ever think these

people who provide food and drink to society would be so tricky and

manipulative with the wordings and ingredients. Crazy.
