Now you have to try the Tofurky, Phew! Have to be very careful how you spell or

say that name.....LOL Anyway, try their Italian Sausage in pasta sauce. Or

brown it and make a sandwich. Toooooooooooooo good for words. I love that blt

also. D

Oh, yeah. My mom would try to push Spam sandwiches on me, usually with

cheese and yellow mustard. I kept telling her I didn't like that

stuff, but she always tried. My dad would sometime fry up slices of

Spam with our Sunday fry breakfast. I would eat a small amount of

that, probably because it was fried in bacon grease! LOL

 

Sometimes our fry breakfasts would include: fried eggs, fried

tomatoes, fried potatoes, bacon, fried bread, toast and rarely fried

Spam. All covered in Daddy's Sauce (or sometimes HP sauce).

The Tofurky sausage is great. My daughter and I both like it. Sometimes we

make it and have it on a roll with grilled peppers and onions, sometimes we

saute it up with onions and potatoes. Sometimes we have it over pasta. So

many things to do with Tofurky sausages.

 

Yummy.

Hi Friends, I also miss crispy bacon sometimes and the flavor

especially. Oddly, one time I made a chix pattie from Morningstar

Farms and added some lettuce and tomato for a sandwich and it had a

bacony flavor. I cooked the pattie in a few drops of EVOO and smidge

Morningstar makes a fake bacon that tastes pretty good on a sandwich!

Makes a great fake BLT...
