Guest guest
thanks Angela, I suggested these things to her, she hates oatmeal, and that is understandable, but the walks, forget it. grrr, stubborn as a mule. I just wound up telling her, " whatever. They have to come to the decision on what to do for themselves and no matter what we try it's rare that we can change their minds. I tried to get my mom to take flax seed oil when she was battling ovarian cancer. I'd read that a German doctor had done a study in which almost all of her cancer patients went into remission from taking a tablespoon of flax oil every day. I bought a bottle and mailed it to my mom. Did she ever even open it? No. I kept asking her and she never tried it. Eventually I think she threw it away....and it's not like it was a cheap bottle! So, I had to just accept that she was going to take care of herself the way she felt comfortable. Sigh Denise
