~ Mmmm. That sounds good.

i like sweetened condensed milk in my

Vietnamese-style iced coffees, too.

A little bit goes a long way!

i have a great dessert cookbook i got by

sending in labels off my Borden brand

sweetened condensed milk cans, and there

are some wonderful cheesecake recipes in

there! The cheesecake topped brownies are

to die for! :)

~ i haven't tried this before but there is a recipe for making

your own vegan version or SCM on vegsource.com:

Sweetened Condensed 'Milk'

Condensed Soymilk or Rice Milk I (Quick Method)

Prepare 2 cups soymilk or rice milk made from powdered mix, using

triple the

powder called for.

Add 3/4 cup sugar or equivalent.

Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is

dissolved.

Add vanilla to taste, and a pinch of salt.

Cool.

Store in jar in fridge.
