Guest guest
Here goes: Years ago my niece was 4 yrs old and she loved to follow me around the house. She was always fascinated my earrings, nauil polish, etc. I had very long natural nails and one had a crack on the side. I used to take a teeny piece of tissue and Krazy Glue it on the crack of the nail to seal it. Well, she's standing there asking me, what are you doing Donny? I said oh, honey I have to get this Krazy Glue open and it's stuck as I jammed an needle into the top and bent the needle. It finally worked, so I repaied the nail and all the sudden Mya my niece says, what's wrong with my neck? I looked down and a drop of glue hit the side of her neck so when she raised her shoulder up her neck was glued to her shoulder and her face was sideways....LOL believe me I was terrified and it could have been a very terrible disaster but all these years later she and I still laugh about it. It took a long time to get her neck free, had to soak nail polish remover on the area and very gently pull. I am sooooooooooooooo careful if I have to use that stuff now. subprong <subprong wrote:LMBO. Too funny. Yah sometimes it's best just to laugh at the situations, if not ourselves. I would have yelled like crazy and then laughed my butt off afterwards. Uh yes, now you have to tell the krazy glue story....! )) " Not getting what you desire and getting what you want desire can both be disappointing. Guest guest
LOL - Oh goodness, I could just picture her with the tilted head and so innocently asking what was wrong with her neck. hee. Sounds like she was a trooper through it though. Hey, I had some of my bad sloppy joe stuff minus the bread. I added tons of lime-chile sauce (you get these huge bottles down here - like huge water bottles - for .99) some cheese (the cheese is always the key for fixing any disaster recipe) and a bit of sea salt (I've finally gotten sea salt!). Anywho, I ate it like crazy. I was either extra hungry or that poor casserole on the floor story made my sloppy joes feel better, lol. Thanks. Guest guest
This is also funny, last year she was working in the emergency room and parents brought in their little girl with her neck glued by her brother. My niece told the parents she could fix this in a second. She removed the glue with a little acetone and told the parents she was also a victim of Krazy Glue as a kid too and to go home and toss that stuff out...........LOL Donna glpveg4life wrote:How funny now...
