Guest guest
I haven't tried this yet but my sister makes it all the time. It is served on baked dishes at the restaurant and those taste great. If you freeze it, then it grates well also. " Native Chi's " 3 cups water 3/4 cup agar flakes (1 oz. package) 2 cups raw unsalted unroasted cashews 1/2 cup lemon juice 2 Tblsp. tahini 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. onion powder Place agar and water in saucepan and bring to a boil, whisking occasionally. Turn to simmer for 5 mins. and continue to whisk, the mixture will thicken. Grind cashews in one cup batches to form powder, it shouldn't be coarse. Place ground cashews back in blender and add lemon juice, tahini, salt, garlic powder and onion powder. Then pour in the water-agar mixture and blender until smooth and creamy. Pour into oiled loaf pan and refrigerate until firm. Slice to serve or freeze a section for easy grating. Store in fridge. " And the sign said long haired freaky people need not apply. So I tucked my hair up under my hat and I went to ask him why. " Source: Five Man Electrical Band- " Signs "
