I lived in the center of the Watts riots growing up and all those years later we had the Rodney King riot and half of the company I worked for burned down, luckily only a few employees had damaged cars. All we can do is hope for peace. Hey J Lyn I wanted to ask what you served at your house warming party? Did you cook, was it catered or a potluck ??? Cheese and crackers, my aunt brought some pizza, chips and salsa. And I made smoothies as well as we had a cake. It was fun. It was Diva theme party. So I had a coupel peopel bring hats and scarves to play dress up in. Then took some pics of each lady posing! It was hilarious! I got some knives, some candles, and some cash! Cash is awesome. My sister is going to get me a wok (she wanted to wait and see what was left on the list to get after the party). I got some serving ware and candles. MY fav of course... cash ! I attached a pic of the party divas in our play outfits LOL Thanks for asking!
