Guest guest
Shadows? Like little spots that won't scrub out? That's what I have now and have had after I cooked rice in it the first time and it stuck. I want to get a stainless steel pan with non stick or something...or a rice cooker but I have no room in my closet sized aparment. I opted for a juicer --- melissa_hopp <hoppmel wrote: > Mel - > > I've stuck rice to my pan, too - it sucks getting it > off! I need a new griddle, too - I'm worried about the non stick coatings though, any thoughts gang? m

I opted for a juicer The times I have this problem, I use Barkeeper's Friend for any steel. After you've scraped off the bits, it gets *everything* else. COmes in a can like Bon Ami. I usually just end up doing the teakettle for him, as it sits on the stoves and gets splashes, etc., and having it clean shows him his opinions are appreciated. Guest guest
PS... I scrub shadows off the teakettle occasionally and leave " vacuum tracks " for him (vacuum late in the day so it's " fresh " )... and he scoops the cat litter, to which I am allergic, for *my* two cats. I think I have the better end of the deal! *lol* Plus, I can make any ol' veg dish I like and he'll eat anything...
