Hi Donna:

I agree, some day when I am in a better financial situation then I am now I

will buy new cookbooks. I really haven't bought a new one in long, long

time. I do get recipes of the internet or make them up as I go along.

That is sad about many of your cookbooks being damaged. they are all so dear to

me. I have The volumes 1 and 2 of the Lean and Luscious series. Even though

their are some non-vegetarian recipes in those books, most can be modified with

TVP, Tofurky products or tofu. They are wonderful books. I have another book

called " Choices for a Healthy Heart " by Joseph Piscatella and it has over 200

recipes in it. I have no idea where I got this book and nothings wrong with my

blood pressure, cholesterol or heart either, but it's just a good book

especially for anyone with these health issues. Donna

Yes this is great cookbook.. Even my non-vegetarian husband always liked

anything I made form this book. I used to have a large collection of

cookbooks,

HI Donna:

I have a bunch of recipes that I have printed off the interenet that are

not very well organized they are just sitting in a folder. They are in no

particular order. My daughter and I both go thru them when we are looking for

things to make. These seem to be the recipes we use the most.

I love to collect recipes.

is really giving me problems tonight.

Sends before I reply or it freezes up. I was going to say that I have a couple

of blank books that I have filled up with copies of all my favorite recipes from

the Internet, hand me downs from friends, things I've cut out of magazines, etc.

These books are my treasures. Cookbooks are fun to read but many times there

isn't a thing you would want to make. I do have some favorites that I cook out

of over and over again but the books I've made up for myself I use the most. Do

you have your recipes organized like that too? Donna
