Hi Jenni,

I asked my niece last year what she needed for Christmas. She said, since I'm

away in Chicago in college would you share some of your wonderful recipes with

me so I can cook for myself and my new friends on the weekends, just photocopy

them and put inside a Christmas card. I found a blank journal book with a

butterfly on the front and filled it from one end to the other with all the

recipes she grew up eating and bunches more of my favorites. I put some in

there from Gran too and I cut little quotes out of magazines and cute little

pix, etc. She cried her eyes out when she opened that gift and she said she

uses her book all the time but she always has a tear of joy in her eyes when she

opens it. Now she is passing my recipes on to some of her friends back there,

so I know how precious your book is too you Jenni.......Donna

YES!! sometime I'll take a picture of my all time favorite... It is a

composition book that I've written all my favorite recipes in... with

every move it comes right with me, in MY Backpack, never packed by

movers!

It has notes and drawings my daughter and son have done taped to the

cover, it is my most priced book.

It is time to start a new one, but I don't want to! lol... even thought

I know it will be come as valued to me as this one....

=)

it is full of love... it seeps out the sides of that cookbook, and adds

to each recipe I make from it! =)

hugs,

jenni
