I had 3/4 head of cabbage sitting in my fridge so I decided to whoop up some

coleslaw (I had no idea what else to do with it to be honest).

1/2 Head Cabbage

Carrots cut in strips

Radishes cut in slices

Celery cut in slices on a bias

Red Onion thinly sliced

1 Jalapeno minced

Green Onions diced

Olives sliced (w/pimiento)

Cilantro

1 Small bottle of coleslaw dressing (yah I cheated here)

Mexican Oregano to taste

Cumin to taste (Key Ingredient)

Pepper

Sorry no measurements. I really enjoyed it. Just ad libbed the ingredients

based on what I had and wanted something a bit different than the regular

flavor of coleslaw.

I was thinking the same thing, I'll try this because it sounds like a

good change from bland ol' coleslaw. The photo is a bit off-putting,

though! *lol*

The pictures was great...no kiddding. I like the idea of spicy slaw

and using radishes in...the aforementioned fussy child (granola bars

posting) likes coleslaw and radishes & I've never put them together!

Yum! That was a great picture, too.

One thing i discovered by accident one day

when food on my plate got mixed together is

that cole slaw goes great with salsa. i bet this

recipe would be wonderful with a blop or two of

salsa mixed in, or on the side. :)

Hi Kathy. You are just jealous of me taking amateur camera phone picture

taking to an all time low. How many people can say they've done that! :)

Janice, Kathy, Mel, PT - I really like it. I'd add more cumin (if you are a

really big cumin fan that is) next time and even a bit more jalp (if you can

take the heat and if ya can't get outta the kitchen :). Another good

ingredient other than radishes would be.....would be...

The name has left me. The potatoey thing with virtually little flavor -

white inside. Wait, yes, I think that's what it's called, " The potatoey

thing with virtually little flavor but it's got the texture and crunch of a

cross between a potato and an apple " . Yes that's it.
