Guest guest
Oh, I forgot to mention. I just put that link up because it was the first one I came across when I did a search, but you can buy them at most grociery stores for WAYYYYYY cheaper than that one. We have like four, all for different thicknesses of cheese (we are obviously not a vegan household, my FIL and DH are both quesadilla addicts and love to have SLICED cheese on them instead of grated) and I have never paid more than 5-10$ for them...definately not 50!!! Hey, Jenni... it works great for Idahos, zukes, etc... but I got it (my inlaws gave it to me for Christmas) for my beloved sweet potato fries and raw sweet potato is too hard! However, if I partially cook the sweet potatoes first they get softer, enough to put through this. There are two sizes of blades, too. I love it. Now that I've been getting so much practice at peeling apples, I'm gonna sell my apple peeler/corer/slicer dohickey, though.
