Guest guest
Hi everyone! I have a 17 mo old and want to have some good healthy snacks around the house for her. Because of her age, I can't just give her carrot sticks (too hard, she only has half her teeth right now) and she seems to be getting sick of raisins...Anyone have any recipes/ideas to share? Thanks! Guest guest
Aw, how sweet. This is such a cute age. These little people sure do like to eat tiny bits here and there all thrugh the day, and it is very important to make healthy things available; takes a lot of calories to do all the growing. i will dig through my personal recipe files to see what snack items i have in there that are age appropriate for a 17 mo old. i hope others will have some good suggestions for you, too. ~ pt ~ How you stand here is important. Guest guest
hi jesika, i'm trying to remember what my little one ate at that age. seems so long ago....he's 5 now (and doesn't eat anything). *cheerios, of course(he never liked the organic kind (oatios) and i don't blame him, they taste like cardboard) *ritz crackers with peanut butter or cheese *yo baby whole milk yogurt *pretzels *bananas *peaches (with the skin) *cooked pasta *graham crackers (sometimes with cream cheese) or teddy grahams *goldfish crackers (not the colored ones) *mango, cantaloupe, watermelon (cut bite size) hope that gives you a few ideas. if i can think of anymore, i'll post those too. susie --- Jesika J <jesikaj wrote: > I have a 17 mo old and want to have some good > healthy snacks > around the house for her. Guest guest
When My kids where that age I gave them veggies and dip.. Cucumbers, carrot sticks cut thin. My son would eat a whole cucumber at one meal sometimes. Gayle
