Food pics; was: Amy the baking goddess

i just loved looking at the pictures on your bakery's

site, Amy. Yesterday i helped my dh style fudge for

a photoshoot we did here for a fudge maker in town.

My fridge is full of the stuff! We have to finish up the

shoot today. *lol*

All those pasteries looked delicious. You might be

slower than everyone right now, but you will get

faster i have no doubt. :)

You do food photography? How fun is that?!!!

It is always interesting. i am more of a props

and basic composition person... i add the little touches

and advise my dh when i think his ideas look tacky, etc.

Less is more, and let the good food do the selling!

 

This recent photo shoot was more for candy and fudge

and theme shots: Mother's Day, Valentine's Day,

Christmas and the like. A bit of everything.

Most of the time we do shots of restaurant menu items

to concentrate on menu design, drink menus, and desserts.

Always fun to make food look yummy even if i wouldn't

touch it with a ten foot fork! *lol* [meat-ugh!]
