Guest guest
i buy white vinegar by the gallon, too. Works as a cleaning solution for so many things. Never thought to use it for clearing the air though. Good tip. Thanks. ~ pt ~ I hope I shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an " honest man. Thanks. You're welcome! Another tip - you know those oil sprayers, where you pump the lid to pressurize it so it sprays like an aerosol? I had two of them, use one for olive oil that I use for cooking & baking, but I found I just didn't use the second one. I put white vinegar in that and it's just awesome for windows and mirrors, and I spray the countertops once a week or so.
Guest guest
Unfortunately the vinegar didn't work for me (maybe I didn't put enough in the bowl or maybe the " apple cider " variety doesn't work). My worst nightmare occurred - My place smelled like burnt vinegar, LOL. Oh well, no biggie. Airing it out today. S. Oh well, no biggie. Airing it out today. Ack, burnt vinegar, eh? Sorry! It usually works for me, but I think the vinegar on rag might be better than the bowls (which did you do?) - I usually just spray it around in the air and on the counters (as per my previous message about the pumping oil sprayer). Last night I was just too tired to post many details beyond the link...

I just aired it out today and it's nearly gone except the kitchen. It's no biggie. I'll just have to cook something that smells really good! Take care, Shawn ))

Hope you figure out something tasty and yet full of aroma to make! In the meantime, these 3 am wake-ups are really starting to get to me - I apologize in advance if I don't make sense sometimes...
