1. " a little " dish " with teeth in the bowl and the lid,

for mashing garlic. "

What is this gadget? i don't know if i have ever seen

one before. Is it hard to clean?

one working (any one got one that's lasted a long time?

What brand is it, please?). "

i have one that has worked for years and years.

Betty Crocker 2-Speed hand blender with mix-and-

measure cup.

3. " silicone pastry brushes "

i have to find one of these! i had a Pampered Chef one

that just got gross and the bristles kept coming out. i never

replaced it yet.

4. " nut grinder jars "

This sounds wonderful. Did it grind nuts real smooth for

like nut butters?

5. " I HATE those chopper jars "

Me too! i bought one from P. Chef and one of the blades

got bent; never worked right after that and oh what a pain

to clean. So much easier to use my Kitchenaide mini food

processor.

" Quinoa Pom Salad " ~ What a wonderful recipe!

Thanks for sharing it. Mmmmmm

http://www.garlictwist.com/ If you like cleanly minced garlic,

probably not for you. But mashed small is good enough for me, and

it's extremely easy to clean - rinse under the faucet.

I'll look that one up too!

I got these cheap at Target. Black with yellow bristles. You can buy

fancier ones too, but these seem to work great!

No, just like finely chopped. I grew up using it every Christmas for

our horribly decadent kolachke cookies, which required finely chopping

several bags of walnuts.

I have a thunder stick mixer I bought in 1998. It

works very well. I use it at least once a week. Very

easy to clean, and just plain rocks. I got it off an

infomercial.

My fav. gaget is my juicer! I love to make juice. I

also really love the push and chop things for things

like carrots, garlic and other difficult to chop

things.

I'll add that to my research list! :-)

I have a juicer I got off freecycle, but haven't actually gotten to

make juice yet.
