whenever I read this list i realize how lucky I am to

be in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Everything is o

multicultural that vegetarian food is in abundance.

When I read the post about the empanadas, or the ones

a few months ago about perogies, it was sooo wierd.

These are just normal foods that I see everywhere and

eat all the time. For me fast food isn't burgers and

fries.. it's 99 cent falafel and manakesh with zataar

and cheese, loaded with turnips, mint, hot peppers and

veggies

ahhh... the good life

We go to Toronto, Ontario often and love the very multicultural vegetarian foods

there also. I really love all the shops that sell Veggie Samosa 10/$2...

Yummmmmmmm. So many other good places to eat there also. It is coming along in

other places to. Enjoy your abundance of choices.

When we traveled thru California a while back, I was amazed at the Vegetarian

Food Choices even in small out of the way places.

Now if I could find a Mexican Rest. that makes refried beans without lard, so my

choices there would be great, I'd really like that also. LOL

I had a wonderful Indian Rest. that was all Vegetarian, in Atlanta, that we

would frequent often. We used to live there. Last time we traveled there

however, there was new owners, and they made the food so exra HOT, that could

hardly eat anything. Now I like HOT stuff, but this was over the top HOT. It

made me very sad. There was a huge International Farmers Market though, not

far from it. They had a Cafeteria, that served wonderful foods, from all

over.... I loved the way they would season their veggies. I could never pin

point exactly what they used, but it was all vegetarian. Their Samaso's were

awesome too.

Well now I am getting hungry. Gotta go make a bowl of oatmeal and add some

sliced up bananas, cashews, maple syrup, raisens and craisens to it in my

bowl... Yummmmmmmmmm.

First

East San Francisco Bay Area - aka Tri-Valley Area

Second I also have encountered the problem

with chicken broth. Another one is sauces

in thai restaurants that have fish sauce in

them despite being called a vegetarian dish.

I worry about fish sauce in these Vietnamese sandwiches I'm addicted

to these days but they don't taste like they have fish sauce. My

language skills are not even up to Thank you in Vietnamese much less

asking about fish sauce lol.
