Guest guest Posted June 3, 2006 Report Share Posted June 3, 2006 I am Luanne as in lahlbrand or something like that, and grew up in very Middle Georgia, moved to Mississsippi during WW II and then to Boston for the rest of grade school then high school. After college in NY, I lived in Evanston, IL for as short a time aspossible then went to NYC as that is where I found a job that paid miniscule wages but enough to live safely, have an active social life, meet a lot of people, not have any homework. Then married, moved to Germany, Indianapolis, IN, Cleveland, OH, Detroit, MI, Dallas, TX, back to Detroit where I still live. Would love to return to GA but don't think I could take the pace of life nor the heat/humidity. Ergo, all this, I am into North Indian recipes, Cuban, Mexan vegetarian. My " little girl " graduates high school this week and we've been busy with company from out of state, award ceremonies, etc. I grew up in Massachusetts, spent about a year each in OK and ME (my ex was in the Air Force), and have been in Northwest PA for the past 15 years.
