Guest guest
I use pink beans in recipes. I find them in the market in 1 pound bags, they are a pinkish color and small than kidney beans. Guest guest
I used to order a good pink bean on the net but they don't seem to be available. They are called flamingo beans and they are pink but I have never seen this bean in the stores. Now at the market I have bought beans prepackaged called pink beans, they are the size of pinto beans and not as dark as a kidney bean but the bag label says pink beans. We might need to look on the net for pink beans and see if there's a picture. Guest guest
http://www.centralbean.com/beantype.html Here is a link to Pink beans with a picture. Just scroll down to it. They are similar to pinto and red beans and can be substituted for each other in recipes. I've found them in the dry bean section in our grocery store. Guest guest
It's a fun one I like finding out what's in those pre-mixed spices like " pumpkin pie spice " . Saves me from buying when I almost always have the separate spices already lol. Diane , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > That is a great site.
