Guest guest
These are so moist and delicious. I haven't tried making this in a loaf pan as a bread yet, but next time I get plums on sale I am gonna try. All the creative breads recipes have me inspired. Poppy Seed Plum Muffins 2 cups flour 2/3 cup sugar 1Tbs baking powder 1 Tbs poppy seeds 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1 egg 3/4 cup milk 1/4 cup butter, melted 1/2 cup finely chopped peeled fresh plums In a bowl combine the first six ingredients. In another bowl, beat the egg, milk, and butter; stir in dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in plums. Fill greased muffin cups to two-thirds full. Bake at425 for 18-20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.
