Guest guest
I too have had a better immune system since being veg, no more strep , bronchitis, or sinus infections. My nasal allergies are still terrible though which may be unrelated to being veg, just moving to a diff part of the country. I had hoped that allergies would go away when giving up animal products (cutting down on inflammation responses, etc) I will admit to occasionally having dairy and that makes me congested immedietely. Anyone have luck with nasal allergies going away or do you still have them despite being veg/vegan?
Guest guest
Melissa, I posted a recipe awhile back for allergies. Toast some bread (unless you are allergic to it use spelt or something else). Make up a paste of ghee, honey and about a tsp. each of ginger powder and black papper. Spread on toast and enjoy fresh air. It is hard to say more because I have no idea where you live, what you eat, yours stresses, etc. GB , " Melissa " <mapalicka wrote: > > I too have had a better immune system since being veg, no more strep , > bronchitis, or sinus infections. This has been the case for both my daughter and me. I went from 3-4 daily prescriptions to none. I do still have the spring hayfever (from which I have been suffering the past few weeks...), but it's definitely season related. Knock on wood, we haven't been sick in I don't know how long. Not even colds - even my kids - they'll seem to have a hint of a cold and then it goes right away. nancyd
