Guest guest
Heh...more likely, you shopping, me & GB eating, lol :-) That's only if GB decide to come over - still waiting to hear from him, this minute. Otherwise, a special trip during miserable, wet Winter might well be the case. I say Winter because it is much more difficult to escape from here in Summer. I am already saving my Annual Leave now, hehe, lol. Hey, I can fetch you from your Dad's and come to mine. It's about an hour's drive though, is that OK? Oh! What festival is on in August? 7th is my girl's b'day :-) Wee On Behalf Of christie_0131 Tuesday, June 13, 2006 7:42 PM Re: Hill Street Ice cream, Kulfi, Heathrow - Christie That would be great if you came to visit - we would spend our time shopping and eating - what fun! :-) and you could bring GB with you. I usually fly to Luton as my dad lives near there now - I think it cost me about £85 return last time but I had to book weeks in advance. In December it becomes really expensive and possibly also in August when the Festival is on. See you soon! Guest guest
There are festivals on here all summer - Art Festival, Jazz & Blues Festival, International Festival (music, dance, theatre), Festival Fringe (similar, but a lot more of it and with comedy thrown in), Book Festival, Film Festival, Interactive Entertainment Festival, Politics Festival (that's a new one on me) and Media Festival - I think that's all of them - it all starts in July with the art Festival and rumbles along until the first week in September. Edinburgh gets lots of visitors anyway but for those few weeks it is really busy. See you in winter, then, remember to pack your thermal vest! Guest guest
Christie, Are you going to teach us how to play rugby and cricket? I'll teach you American football, basketball and baseball.
