Guest guest
Sea Salt tastes just the same... And now that I have seen the Dead Sea Salt industry, I am scared off that too. I make my own bath salts so I am jaded on all the Salt craze. xoxoRobyn I usually use good old Morton's iodized salt. I want to try sea salt. Guest guest
It seems like the white pepper sneaks up on you and it's very hot in recipes if you don't watch, maybe because it's hard to see compared to the black pepper. Guest guest
Sea salt does taste good. It's not much different from table salt, but it has a smoother taste, less of a " bite. Guest guest
Finishing salt such as Fleur de Sel has an appreciably different taste, but is not added during cooking, rather at the end. Since my husband has never liked salt, I don't generally cook with it but add a tiny bit of finishing salt to my food before eating. Once you look at the price of finishing salts (including the pink one...sweet, nice flavor..) you'll see why I use them very sparingly!!! Here's an interesting link about finishing salts. http://www.rockridgemarkethall.com/newsletter/oct2005/index.html Jeanne in GA _______________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
