What do you guys eat for fast cool snacks or dinner during the heat?

I've been making some of the sandwich wraps from the files and eating fresh

fruit.

We live without A/C, so I avoid using the stove in summer. We eat wraps, salads

(lettuce, beans, brown rice, corn, salsa, ranch dressing, avocado, tomato,

etc.), grilled veggies, grilled pizza.

A LOT of somen (cold) noodle soup is eaten at my house... I like it,

you can make it ahead and just refrigerate and eat with onion... very

refreshing.

We love cous cous here and tabouli. Hummus, salads and

corn on the cob. I just found organic corn on the cob

at Giant Supermarkets freezer section. My son was so

happy!!
