I don't know about any over all benefits, but the Japanese and Chinese (and

other Asians) sure eat a lot of it... and they seem to do fine. :o)

Hi to the Moderator & to everybody!

I am a former yaogic monk and mostly lacto-vegetrian. I am taking the

opportunity to put a request for help for articles/researched materials in

support

of the use as food of soy and tofu. On other lists, I am besieged and

outnumbered by contrarians whenever I post something that caters to the

benefits of

partaking soy/tofu.

Looking forward to your positive response and, on the whole, to a fruitful

interaction with you all. And thank you for this oppotunity to join you all in

this conference.

With love/blessings,

~Karmesh

Robyn that was going to be my answer :-) (Get out of

my head! Tee hee). I had an discussion about this back

in January. The person I was discussing this with said

that the Japanese don't eat tofu that often but I

countered with the fact that they eat soy sauce at

every meal. I think that the vegan lunch box blog has

links to these types of articles.

Hope that helps,

Whitney
