Guest guest Posted July 8, 2006 Report Share Posted July 8, 2006 Southern Chinese recipe 1 lb. sweet potatoes 1 cup glutinous or sweet rice flour 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup sesame seeds oil for deep frying Boil sweet potatoes in skins until tender Drain, peel and mash Beat in glutinous rice flour and sugar add sesame seeds With dampened hands roll mixture into walnut size balls Deep fry in oil until golden brown Drain on paper towels I have never made these but found the recipe on line.
