Guest guest
I've been using the Great Yogi's Golden Milk recipe from the files for a couple of weeks now and I really do think it s helping my rheumatoid and osteo arthritis more than the pain pill cocktail the ortho doc has me on. I have even been able to go several days without pain pills, which is a wonderful feeling! Now to start pushing the heavy metals out of my body. Sorry I didn't snip the other posts, but otherwise my email might not be very clear. Thanks GY! Jeanne in Georgia greatyoga <greatyoga wrote: Jeanne This tastes good too. I haven't heard of turmeric and milk for excreting heavy metals. Turmeric is very versatile though. It is good for all the mucus membranes, digestion, kidneys, lungs, immune system, etc. aIt is good for the joints. I believe I sent in a recipe for Golden Milk awhile ago. It is specifically for the joints. Some people use it for arthritis. GB , treazure noname <treazured wrote: > > I'm going to try this. Part of the reason for my laundry list of medical problems is the fact that our water is heavily contaminated to above maximum contaminant levels with an assortment of lovely chemicals and heavy metals. The EPA report said we don't have to worry about the radioactive waste in the water, since it is below MCL, I feel safer already. Drank it and used it 20 years before finding out about this little gem. I've been doing the turmeric and milk for a couple of weeks now and think it is helping. I know for a fact that I have not needed as many blankety blank pills since starting this. > > Jeanne in Georgia, living at ground zero of two Superfund Sites. > > > > > Get on board. Guest guest
Jeanne You can also use turmeric in curries, dhals and subzees. It is also the main ingredient in yellow mustard. Guggulu is also very good for arthritis. There are hundreds of different formulations made according to one's dosha. Boswellia is another rmemedy. An even better remedy than Golden Milk is turmeric potato broth. Take peelings from potatoes and simmer in water and turmeric. Do not add salt. It is not the best tasting drink though. Guest guest
Now that is wierd but in a good way. I've been craving dhal and have lentils on my shopping list. Hopefully I will get lucky and find some red ones but will do with the yellow lentils if not, and then order online. My husband particularly likes dry crisp okra (minus the asafoetida and things I just cannot find here), so I know what I'll be making for this weekend! Thanks Great Yoga... Oh, PS: read your post suggesting the butterfly for prenatal exercise. The butterfly is also great for keeping arthritic hip joints from freezing; gives greater mobility and flexibility. When I started doing it (re my physical therapist's suggestion), I was unable to walk without the walker or cane. Now I am walking. With aid, yes, but I AM walking. Many thanks for the blessings you have given! Jeanne in Georgia ._,___ How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates.
