Guest guest
A great omelette! Scamble a couple eggs, and add a little milk to them while you're beating them, it makes them fluffier. Make a simple cheese omelette, but instead of just making it a cheese omelette with plain American cheese, dice up a slice of tomatoe and put in there! I tried this earlier this morning when I was looking for a way to give more flavor to a classic favorite of mine. When it's done, just put a dash of Season-All to give it a little more flavor, and that's it. It's real good! :-) I call it the What's The Difference? Omelette because, ya know, everyone argues how to say tomato, LOL. (I happen to say it like most regular folks like me do...with the long A, LOL - ta-may-toe. Hehe. :-p Neurotically Yours, ***Sara***
Guest guest
I'll have to try that one too! Souffle...something I never knew I'd be able to do...till now! Hehe! ***Sara*** For a change, Sara, try, separating the eggs, beat the egg whites until stiff and then carefully fold in the yolks. Pour gently into the skillet, cook as usual and voila - omelette souffle, fluffiest of omelettes. Christie (BTW it's tom-ah-toe, don'tcha know ;-p!) Guest guest
And, for a change, I use pepper cheese. Just enough spice to awaken the taste buds for the day. Guest guest
I never made a souffle either, Sara, but this omelette is really easy - it was one of the things I taught my Dad to cook when my mum died and even though he only started cooking at 60, he picked this up really quickly.
