I also look at it as an honor to be among you all. The compassion we show

for other living creatures and for our own bodies is amazing. We have

everything here from casual flexitarians to hardcore foodie vegans here, and I

love

it, I love it, I LOVE IT!!! With over 1,500 people in this group, it lets me

know that while I may be the only vegetarian in my family, and the only one I

know period, there are plenty out there just like me!!!

I love you all!!!

When I read the posts from this group I am again reminded of the love

and compassion shown by Vegetarians and Vegans to all living creatures.

We not only respect and love our fellow creatures but we have a 'love

affair' with food.

What a wonderful group . It is an honor to be among you.

I am encouraged just knowing that so many of you are out in our world

Sending smiles and hugs your way

Mike,

Oh you mean " those big ole'rats with fluffy tails " as my sister calls

them..LOL We laughed ourselves silly as the squirrels chewed through

her Christmas lights on the house time after time and we never did

figure out why they were doing it. I love to watch their antics as they

will do just about anything to get at the bird feeders. But when I

lived in the mountains it wasn't the squirrels that ate the bird seed

it was the bears and one just does not confront a bear. They can't

figure out how to get the seed out so they just tear the feeder apart.

Sometimes throwing it on the ground and stomping on it. LOL

In the winter I placed the seed on the deck near the window so I could

watch the birds feed. Winter was good as the bears were hibernating.

Yes Tomato Hornworms and grass hoppers on my flowers, eating up the leaves, bit

the dust here. What a lot of damage they do and they sure do blend in with a

plants green color don't they?
