Does anyone know an effective way to remove tea stains from teapot,

kettle etc? I tried most of the cleaners available in supermarkets

but they do not seem to work. (I brew tea by adding pure tea leaves

into boiling water). Thanks!

Have you tried baking soda mixed with a little white vineagar? I have a

porcelin tea kettle and pans and it works for me. You might also try

using a ceramic infuser to place your tea in before putting it in the

pot. That will keep the tea leaves from settleing to the bottom and

staining it. Of course some staining will happen anyway. I have used

tea to dye cloth and the color never fades.

Have you tried baking soda and water? Soak it a while. Also I have

heard denture tablets work but have not tried that myself. My mom

used to used cream of tartar powder but I don't know what strength

solution.

Don't know if this will work but how about a mixture of baking soda and vinegar

inside the tea pot.
