I'm guessing these are new products, as I've never seen them before, but

anyway, they are " Cottage Cheese " and " Egg Salad " .....and they are

AWESOME! I don't like to say that about anything unless it really is

outstanding, and these two items fit the bill.

The " Cottage Cheese " is not exactly a dead ringer for its namesake, but

it's very very good. The " Egg Salad " was a shock to my taste

buds....seriously! It is egg-zactly like its name.

Am I the last one to discover these? I haven't seen anyone write about

them at all, but since I'm gone some days and get w-a-y behind on my email,

perhaps I missed it.

Sometimes foods that are supposed to taste like something else are big

disappointments, so I usually try to enjoy a food for simply what it

is. But the egg thing is wonderful and makes a great sandwich on a good

bread with Vegenaise and fresh lettuce leaves....mmmmmm, I'm getting hungry!

Anyway, if you get to Whole Foods, give those a try.

I have had the " egg salad " and it was fantastic. I

found it about 6 months ago. I haven't seen " cottage

cheese " yet. We may be going down to Austin today or

tomorrow to Whole Foods (it's an hour drive but the

HEB and Wal-Mart here are not cutting it! ) so I will

have to look for it.

I hope they have them both. I have been craving

cottage cheese and made a recipe I found ages ago and

it was not very yummy. I usually check out the

ingredients and experiment after I buy them. Maybe I

will one day be able to make my own. :D

I will check the egg salad at Whole Foods as I love the taste of egg salad.

Whole Foods has a lot of great things that typical grocery stores don't.

I will look for the cottage cheese, I really miss

eating it and one scoop of the real thing kills my

stomach.
