Guest guest
Dear group members. It is time to acknowledge the work that the moderators/owners of this wonderful group are doing. There is a huge responsibility with keeping this group connected and safe. We have to be careful with some of our subjet matter so that we do not offend others and take the chance of placing our group in a 'ADULT' catagory due to using adult language or content no matter how innocent it might seem to us. We have members of all ages including the very young and the more mature. I happen to be in the 'mature' group so that's why I didn't say " old " . LOL Age 65 here and seldom if ever offended but aware of the difficult position that I might place the moderators if I am not careful with my words or subject matter. Look folks to put it bluntly be careful what you say in your posts. That means no cursing, sexual enuendoes, and call downs. If you have a disagreement with something said please go off line to the member and settle it there. Make it easy for the moderators who are doing a fantastic job. Sending smiles and hugs your way Deanna
Guest guest
I think I better put Deanna in the moderator group. Thanks Deanna...you always make me smile (:- ) I know with a large group we don't all agree on everything we see or every recipe that's posted but I sure think we do a very good job of getting along in here and have a lot of fun too. I think we all work hard at making the group fun for everyone. Let's continue doing so. I'll watch my song lyrics too (:- ) I promise not to post " Casey Jones " by the Dead...LOL Hugs, Donna --- genny_y2k <genny_y2k wrote: > Dear group members. Guest guest
Deanna--thanks for this great message and reminder. All of us here do owe the group moderaters and owners a big thanks! A few years ago I would have been amazed if someone told me I would have this resource available daily to check in with. Oh...how quickly we grow used to our new modern conveniences! I can remember being in 6th grade and being stuck at home during the summer. Most of the day we were able to go out and play in some form or another. I can remember playing hopscotch, kicking a ball around in the street endlessly, and also playing jacks anywhere that was level enough---A real treat was walking to the bookmobile that was parked 3 blocks away at the pharmacy.. I remember checking out " Forever Amber " reading the whole book, and not understanding a word of it! I just remember it made my parents upset when they saw I was reading it, so I knew it must be good! and now--just in the past 15 or so years of my life, we are able to access almost anything online! So maybe since this is a family group, some of the junior members are reading messages and they're in the " Forever Amber " genre? Uh....I didn't even know there were " adult " veggie groups. Not that I am interested, but maybe if I knew the addresses of these adult veggie groups, I could stay away from them! Thanks in advance!....LOL Paula In , " genny_y2k " <genny_y2k wrote: > > Dear group members.
