Guest guest
When I prepare Red Swiss Chard, I first saute some fresh minced garlic in a little oil and very small amount of water in a wok. I then chop the Red Swiss Chard and add to this. I cover it and stir frequently until tender crisp and still bright green.... Yummmmm. Never thought about adding mustard seed to it. I might try that and the onions.. Thanks for the suggestion. I love Red. Swiss Chard. - Donnalilacflower Saturday, July 29, 2006 6:47 AM Chanda and chard Chard isn't bitter to me, the dandelions killed my bitter taste bud..LOL I saute onion, garlic, cumin, mustard seeds and then add the chard. Guest guest
it is probably, along with the other greens in the same category, the most nutritious there is, with more beta carotene than carrots, and disease fighting properties. It actually fights emphysema, and I smoked for years, and I have the start of emphysema, so I hope it kicks in and stops it from progressing. hugs, Chanda - wwjd Monday, July 31, 2006 10:18 PM Re: Re: [)chard- Donna Glad to meet another fellow Chard Lover. : )))))) It is so good for you to.
